From 05 to 08 May 2021, it's that time again: experts from the fields of oncology, gynaecology and surgery will come together online at the 11th international Charité Mayo Conference to talk about cancer in women under the motto "Global Perspectives and Future Directions in Women's Cancer". In addition, live workshops will be held daily at the Berlin venue.
The 11th international Charité Mayo Conference will focus on global perspectives and future directions in the treatment of women with cancer. On this occasion, under the leadership of the congress presidents Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Jalid Sehouli and Prof. Dr. med. Jens-Uwe Blohmer, experts from various medical disciplines will come together for four days in Berlin within the framework of online lectures and on-site workshops.
For the cost of 350€, participants can attend the Berlin workshops on all four days from 08:00 to 12:00. However, due to the currently still unclear COVID-19 situation, the fees will only be collected after the final decision that on-site events can take place. Participation in the online events from 12:30 to 18:00, on the other hand, is free of charge.
The selection of topics in the online programme of the Charité Mayo Conference from 05 to 07 May covers the most diverse forms of cancer - from breast cancer to ovarian carcinoma to vulva cancer - and the current state of research. The last day of the online congress will focus on future treatment options for all forms of cancer in women. Here, the topics of molecular diagnostics and personalised medicine will be further explored by the experts at the Charité-Mayo-Conference.
The conference committee has called for abstracts for an online poster exhibition. Until 19 March, interested parties have the opportunity to submit their scientific paper on cancer in women, limited to a maximum length of 300 words, in English at toc-labor@charite.de. After the online programme of the Charité Mayo Conference, all participants will also have the opportunity to exchange ideas with different experts every day during the "Fireside Chat".
