In 2021, the European Congress of Rheumatology (EULAR) will focus on People with Arthritis and Rheumatism in Europe (PARE) and Health Professionals in Rheumatology (HPR). A total of over 2,700 abstracts were submitted.
It's time again: From 2 to 5 June 2021, the annual specialist congress of the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology, formerly European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR), will take place this year as a digital-only event. The focus of the European Rheumatology Congress is on the latest findings and current treatment approaches for people with arthritis and rheumatism in Europe (PARE) and health professions in rheumatology (HPR).
International experts in rheumatology will present across the broad spectrum of rheumatic diseases at EULAR 2021 - in the form of cutting-edge lectures, basic and clinical research symposia, abstract sessions, presentations, and discussions of difficult cases, workshops and group sessions on specific thematic interests.
In preparation for EULAR 2021, more than 2,700 scientific abstracts were submitted. All abstracts are already available in the EULAR archive. The topics are as diverse as all rheumatism and arthritis patients themselves. A very small but yet rich sample proving this diversity include: Living with rheumatism in times of COVID-19 (Abstract OP0264-HPR), laboratory markers of inflammatory activity in patients with monogenic and polygenic autoinflammatory diseases (Abstract AB0749), psychosocial effects of undifferentiated collagenosis (UCTD) (Abstract POS0715), or ocular manifestations of giant cell arteritis (RZA) (Abstract AB0383).
esanum will once again cover this event, and we will provide our users with up-to-date reporting with articles, video interviews, as well as podcast episodes and congress highlights from EULAR 2021. From early June, you can check our congress content in the esanum EULAR 2021 special site.
