Gollop-Wolfgang complex

The Gollop-Wolfgang complex describes a malformations syndrome, which has a gap formation in the hand or foot with unilateral split hand and a one-sided bifurcation of the femur. The syndrome is characterized by a congenital absence of the tibia.

The cause is not yet known, but one assumes a possible autosomal recessive or dominant inheritance.
