Cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome

Cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome is an innate combination of malformations with a mental retardation. The patients suffer from irregularities in the nerve cells and their interconnection, heart defects and a face and skull shape typical for the syndrome.

The cause is unknown but assumed to be mutations.
